One-On-One Support

Students are trained by a Pupil Personnel Services credentialed instructor. Theories that are taught include: solution focused, cognitive behavioral and reality, to name a few. Students are prepared over the course of a semester to support students who are having personal issues, conflict mediation and facing unexpected crises. After a semester of preparation, students are then required to go before a panel of credentialed counselors in order to obtain certification. Students are only allowed to work with other students after obtaining Peer Leadership Certification.
